What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Penny Dee Turn up at your computer (or writing pad, if that is your thing) every single day and just see what turns up. But you have to show up every day. Some days you will write pretty ordinary stuff, then other days you will write the pivotal points of your story. Don't fall into the "I dont have time to write everyday" bulldust ... I got up at 3.30am to write Crazy Beautiful, because that was the only time I had to write it because I was a mum, wife and full time employee. Just show up and see what happens. Writers write.
