Why the change in publisher for "A Will to Kill"? Is it because the book is extremely different from your corporate espionage novels?

That's right. The earlier ones were corporate crime thrillers with elaborate white-collar crimes. A Will to Kill is a traditional murder mystery. While both are crime fiction, they are of different sub-genres.

One of the things I like about your books is that you always have strong women characters who have very important roles. I don't find it often in thrillers. Many thriller authors cast at least one woman as an "object of desire" (borrowing your phrase from one of your interviews), which you don't. I was wondering why?
