Maia has a cursed kiss because of the hetarea mark... but why don't the hetarea in the Harbringer series have the cursed kiss?

That's a good question, Jackie. Lia cursed the hetaera leering in Scourge of Muirwood. That's the one that Maia used. But, knowing the consequences, Maia was also the one to have that leering hidden away. The hetaera in Harbinger did not use that one because it was locked away, but another one was fashioned by the Kishion, one that would not bring the same curse. I don't think there are any spoilers in this since it's implied rather than stated in the books.

I'm thinking of making a little book of inspirational quotes to carry around with me and I've found the majority of them to have come from you. Firstly, I'd like to ask permission, even though my aim is to use it selfishly for my eyes only, not for publishing. Second, I would like to ask where it is that your inspiration for the books comes from. They were such an inspiration to me so third is a simple thank you. ?

Hey Jeff, I just finished The Poisoner's Enemy and loved your work, like usual. The end left me with many questions though and wondered if you would may be adding another Ankarette prequel at some point to fill in the gaps? Or maybe I need to reread The KingFountain series again because it's been awhile.
