How do you deal with writer’s block?

Kenneth Cline Starting the day with a blank screen staring back at me is always intimidating. The best technique I've found for getting the thoughts flowing is to look back at what I've written the previous day. As I do that, I inevitably find things that need to be corrected or revised, whether that's typos, style, the material itself. The process of correcting those errors puts me back into the story and then I can segue more easily into the new material. I think of it like a car engine. You need something to kick the gears into motion. Then you can begin to accelerate.
