I absolutely love the Sookie Stackhouse series, what was your inspiration for it and were you happy with how the Television Show turned out?

I am so glad you've enjoyed those books. I wanted to write about exclusion and difference, and the best way to talk about that gradually evolved into a woman who had to date vampires. Since my book sales rocketed when the TV show came on, I was very pleased with it!
