Hi there, About to pick up the spellslinger books as they sound amazing. Just wondering if there is any adult content in the series or if it is ok for a kid to read? Thanks

Sebastien de Castell Spellslinger is a YA series, so it's written with teenagers in mind (though loads of adults and some more precocious younger kids also read the series). My friend's nine year old is a big fan of the series, so it ultimately depends on your family's preferences. There's no overtly sexual content or gratuitous violence and the language is reasonably tame (though, you know, the squirrel cat's been known to swear once in a while.)
