I usually get ideas just walking in the park. I originally got the idea for A Boy and His Corpse (That's my most recent book. The Darkness of the Womb came out before it) when I imagined what it would be like if I could control corpses with my mind. What would I do with that ability? Well, start an undead wrestling federation, of course! And that's where the concept came from. :D
