Wow, that's a tough one.
I've often joked that I'd like my tombstone to read "You should see the other guy." But that's not actually a mission statement.
There is a philosophy that runs through every major world religion, however--which is to treat other people better than they treat you. I don't always succeed, but I do try to be somebody who offers more than I ask for. It would, of course, be up to any theoretical biographer to decide on the success or failure of that mission.
