In the book, Breakdown, you mention the French students at the pub (about 3/4 of the way through the book) and you have them saying "Si" instead of "Oui". I'm sure I'm not the only one who noticed. In that same part of the book you have Rachel and Cass having a phone conversation and Cass says she is talking on Rachel's cell phone. She had hid that phone in the glove box of her car, so how is that possible?

Hi, thank you for your email. In answer to your first query, I know it's confusing but if you are insisting on something in French, you say 'si' not 'oui' (I'm half-French and have lived in France most of my life and speak fluent French :))

Just wanted to say that I really truly enjoyed your book "Behind Closed Doors". Would share the inspiration for your character, Millie? I absolutely loved her. She was like a little ray of sunshine in this dark novel. I am glad that you gave Millie such a strong voice.
