Hello again Merryn. Can you tell me if the setting for Murder at Melstock was based on anywhere in particular or was it purely fictional? I found a familiarity with it somehow and really enjoyed reading it. I was sorry when it came to an end. A very good read.

Merryn Allingham Hi Poppie. How nice to hear from you. Melstock was an entirely fictional village but I did live in Somerset for some years as a child, so perhaps that showed! I'm delighted you really enjoyed the book and do keep in touch.

I'm just curious about something. How come I cannot get your latest Daisy book on kindle in the US? It is frustrating because so many of the books I love have to be shipped from Britain and cost more in postage than the book itself.
