Darren Shan You can certainly give it a try -- I did at that age -- although you will probably find that it's a task that ultimately proves beyond you -- as it proved beyond me. A better bet is to focus on short stories. That's what most writers do. Write lots of those, learn from them, get good at them, and then you will be in a much better place to attempt a longer, more involving work if you want to.
