Hi Michael, Hope this finds you well. Thanks for creating such incredible work, quotes from which are etched on the marrow of my bones. My question is: what music would you recommend reading Riyria stories to (if at all - I appreciate combining music and reading is not for everyone)? Many thanks, Dave Scurlock

Hey Dave, Thanks for writing and for your very kind words. So, when it comes to the Riyria Revelations, I actually have a "playlist." Many of the songs on it were used as inspiration or just struck me as fitting certain scenes of the series extremely well. Some of the artists from it include Dougie MacLean, Kate Rusby, Coldplay, The Chieftains, Vanessa-Mae, Mary Fahl, Tracy Chapman, Loreena McKennit, Gavin DeGraw, Randy Newman, Dire Straits. So certainly those are artists I would recommend.
The entire playlist is RIDDLED with spoilers, and so I keep it on a "secret and private page on my website because I want to control who sees it. Assuming you have finished all the Riyria Revelation books (Theft of Swords, Rise of Empire, and Heir of Novron), you can go take a peek at it at the link found here . I hope you enjoy it!

Hey! First of all, I want to thank you for being so active here on Goodreads. It's so awesome being able to chat with authors on here, and too few do it. Second of all, (this question has probably been asked too many times) but do you have any other books/series in the works at the moment?

Will the The First Empire, when the last book of it is released, possibly spoil the amazing denouement of the Riyria Revelations? I mean - hypothetically, if someone hasn't read the Revelations, and decides to wait several years and read all the First Empire books first, and only THEN pick up the Revelations, would that take the edge off their enjoyment that comes from all the surprise revelations in Percepliquis?
