Rachael asked Beth Revis:

I love your Across the Universe series!!! It was your books that got me hooked on Young Adult novels! Anyways, I'm trying to write a Young Adult novel, but I keep bouncing from one idea to the other and losing interest in stories that have potential. Do you have any advice that could help me deal with this?

Beth Revis This could just be a matter of butt-in-chair--sit yourself down and force yourself to write. When I get like this, I set a timer. I have a little kitchen timer, and I usually set it for about an hour. During that time, no internet, no distractions: I have sit there and the only thing I can do is work on the manuscript. It usually helps.

It could just be that you're still figuring out the right ideas--nothing wrong with that! Just determine if you're procrastinating or brainstorming, and then solve that problem.
