I just got done reading the series. I really enjoyed it. I was sad to see the series end. I do understand what you mean about it becoming repetitive. Why cant we learn more about the alien that Dash encounters?

Stuart Gibbs A novel about aliens is sci-fi and I didn't feel like writing sci-fi. I wanted to write mysteries set in space. And as far as knowing more about the aliens... I wanted to leave something to your imagination. If I were to delve into a whole litany of facts about the aliens and their culture, I'm not sure that it would be that much fun to read.
