Leone asked Paul Tremblay:

Hi, Paul. You may have already answered this question, but I didn't go back very far in the question section. When did you start writing and what brought you to it? I think that I first read you in an anthology but don't remember which exactly. I read both novels and short stories. I enjoy anthologies for the reason that I find new, lesser known authors to read.

Paul Tremblay I started in my mid-twenties (not sure why to be honest, as I had no writing training, and went to school for mathematics), got serious in my late 20's early 30's and it was a long, windy climb from there. Reading Joyce Carol Oates, Stephen King, Peter Straub, Clive Barker, Kurt Vonnegut, Shirley Jackson and more inspired me to try my hand at it.
