Hey, sorry to bother you, but how far do you think you're through book three of the Arcane Ascension? I'd love to read it as soon as it comes out.

I'm about 15-20% into my first draft, but it isn't my main focus right now, so it's going slowly.

I'm currently finishing edits on the second Weapons and Wielders book. Once that's done, I'll be moving over to working more heavily on the third Arcane Ascension book.

I expect the book to be out sometime later next year, but it's hard to give any hard estimates.

At the AA protagonists current levels, I would expect fights against vastly stronger opponents to go more differently. The common explanation for Corin and his friends to survive those battles has been that their opponents were holding back. Especially one fast move from Saffron should have killed Corin. Are there other explanations than the protagonists opponents always luckly holding back?
