I read the first chapter of "In His Arms" and loved the story. The new book appears to pick up from the time of First Christmas. I am curious on how the timing work out for Rory and Dar and your other book :Worth the Wait"? Will they happen about the same time. Can't wait to catch up with all the other characters in the book, Marcus, Thomas, Mom, Julia and Des. I like the stories from this extended family and pls cont

June, glad you enjoyed it! This is the first draft, so I haven't worked out all the timeline issues yet. As usual, I've created some problems for myself with the free vignette, which often "steps out" of the flow because it's a more casual, free flow story creation (grin). It will occur after First Christmas for sure, but instead of having it "right after" First Christmas, like I have it now, it may be some months later, so that the overlap points with Worth the Wait (like Daralyn being on a field trip with her community college, and no evidence that she and Rory are in a relationship yet) can make more sense. Thanks for helping me with the reminder!

Hi Joey. I'm asking this question of several writers, some friends, some strangers... Do you consider your writing process a "spiritual" practice? If yes, what makes it so? If no, why not? What, in your mind, either qualifies or disqualifies writing as a spiritual practice? Please feel free to either share concrete personal views on this, or approach it as a concept apart from you. Or both. Thanks.

Hello, firstly I want to say that your books are incredible. I love the diversity in characters and dynamics and the whole world you've built around them. While waiting for your 3rd book in The Mistresses of the Boardroom series I re-read for the 3rd time Branded Sanctuary. There is something special about Brendan and Chloe in my heart that I can't seem to get enough of. Is there a "revisit" vignettes in store for them?

Dear Joey, I love your books with a fierce passion. You speak directly into a person's heart and my heart opens dearly to your talent. Because I get so invested in each and every one of your stories I wonder if you have a personal favourite book/dynamic/couple that you've written?
