I just listened to the Curse of Chalion three successive times. Must be my age and lack of health, but I found him and his story to be profound. In these times where honor and truth seem so passé. I loved how he turned away from seeking glory and found such reverence for kindness. I dare not hope, but if your wonderful genius meets another such character, it would be a great gift. What do you think?

Well, no two characters can or even should be alike, so I can't promise you another Caz. If you haven't tried the Penric novellas yet, they might work for you as well, if differently, as Penric starts out as a much more callow youth, who is not even now as old as Caz was when his story began. (Start with the e-novella "Penric's Demon" or the Baen collection Penric's Progress.)

At the end of Cryoburn, did Gregor join the Pallbearers as the Emperor, or as the Count Vorbarra? The former is implied, but since you do not mention the uniform he wore (as you did in Civil Campaign for the wedding), I have doubts. Small ones, mind you.
Thank you for your time and for many many many (lots, even) hours of great reading fun.

Part 1 of another couple of questions from me … split into two because of the space limitation. Up to the end of CVA, there are a few hints that Alys and Simon *might* consider getting married at some point. I would love to know more about what they are thinking. Also, other characters speculate about them using the replicator to have biological kid(s) of their own, but Simon and Alys never seem to mention it?

I've just finished reading the Miles Vorkosigan series for the fourth time. Hungry for more. Is it possible to explore with your books: Sgt Taura's last days? Gen Count Piotr's days during the Cetagandan occupation? More of Countess Cordelia's post-Aral days? These are all story lines that bear exploration, and your countless loyal fans would devour them
