Is Cold Steel ever coming out in Mass Market Paperback? I've been waiting on it but I'm not sure if it's ever happening! I'd like all my books to match but I'm dying to know what happens next.

Rosa, thank you so much for asking. I'm so glad you've enjoyed the first two novels of Spiritwalker.
Unfortunately Orbit Books will not be bringing out a mass market version of Cold Steel. It's a business decision on their part. Books that aren't bestsellers will now only come out in the larger (trade) paperback size, and in ebook. This is because (as far as I understand it) that the market for mass market has been mostly replaced by the ebook market (that is, people who used to buy mass market often now buy the ebook version instead) so it is no longer cost effective for them to print a mass market version in the USA because they can't sell enough. In the UK, interestingly, they still publish both a large format paperback and then, some months after original publication, a small format one.
I am sorry there will not be a mass market pb to fit your collection. I hope you will read Cold Steel anyway -- I'm very proud of it and I feel it finishes up the series in a fitting way.

First I wanted to say I absolutely LOVE the Spiritwalker books! Cat's physical and mental strength, her passion, and her feminist attitudes are so inspiring. There are many modern themes in the trilogy, but the love story between Cat and Andevai reminds me in some ways of the dynamic between Elizabeth Bennett and Mr. Darcy. Did Jane Austen, or any other classic author, provide some inspiration for their romance?
