I Whole-heartily Love All Your Books. I've read (or listened) to all of them at least twice. Re-listening to the Sharing Knife series for the 4th time currently. Recently I re-read The Spirit Ring novel. Like all your works, it was wonderfully done. There were so many possibilities and hints for more. Please forgive me if you've already answered this, but why was there no Follow-up to The Spirit Ring?

Glad you enjoyed The Spirit Ring. Well, truly, the answer is, because I wrote something else instead -- the whole run of Miles books through the 90s, from Mirror Dance through A Civil Campaign. Which worked out pretty well for me...
Had tSR been a surprise bestseller, rather than a surprise non-bestseller, I might have had more push to get back to its world, but instead I took what I had learned about how I wanted to write fantasy and went on to The Curse of Chalion, which is still spinning out aspects to explore, gosh, 20 years later.
But I'm happy The Spirit Ring is still finding new readers almost 30 years later.

I noticed awhile ago (based on the books that you were rating here) that you enjoy manga. After I recently started enjoying manga and anime myself, it occurred to me how fun it would be to watch Japanese-anime-style versions of some of your books. Is that an avenue that you have explored or are interested in exploring?
