Last summer in your blog, you said you would let us know when/if a date was available for the audio version of "The Orphans of Raspay" - so much anxiety from 2 little letters. It has been over 6 months. Any chance you can at least erase the "if" and let the torrents of hope and anticipation resume? I love Grover Gardner's reading of your work. Please let us know it will continue.

We figured out (just last week) that there may have been a glitch in the submission, which is presently in process of being corrected. I'm waiting to hear back, but expect delay. If/when it changes from "if" to "when", I'll make a blog post.

I'm afraid to ask a question which must have been asked before, but here we go: For the Vorkosigan saga, did you decide for specific reasons to imagine a science-fi world without any aliens, or does the world came naturally to your mind already formed like that, with genetically altered humans but no aliens at all? Or is it the reflect of a personal conviction about science-fi credibility?
