I love your books, Blake! I'm always searching for a new author to add to my very long list. But there's a lot of, um, junk out there. Jeff Menapace is a new find, he's a solid read. Dick Wybrow has a great series about a ghost who's also a detective, love all of his stuff. And, I've chewed through every Caimh McDonnel book, they amazing. Are there any new-ish writers you've found you could recommend?

I read dark matter last year and I absolutely loved it! Every time I read a book with an intricate plot i always find myself wondering if the author planned it out roughly from the beginning or if they just kind of winged it and went where the story took them. So I'm curious, did you know how the story would end when you started writing the book?
