Amanda Eyre Ward Thank you so much! This makes my day. I began writing SLEEP TOWARD HEAVEN when I moved to Texas. So much was new to me here, though I was a librarian like Celia. I traveled to Huntsville and Gatesville to interview people in and out of the prisons to research. I actually still think about Celia and would love to revisit her life again.
