Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Samira Vivette I have always loved reading and writing poetry ever since I can remember; I'd be relaxing with friends and family and have times where I needed to walk away to write down a thought, prompt, or an entire poem itself. The idea for my most recent book came to me naturally during a period of pain and eventual healing, and has been a project I have been working on non-stop since last year. I essentially bled into my poetry. This book is one that is especially personal and vulnerable.
