Which book or piece of work would you consider to be your magnum opus?

My favourite is Trust Your Eyes, and No Time for Goodbye was my biggest hit but I guess my magnum opus is my Promise Falls trilogy: Broken Promise, Far From True and The Twenty-Three, three novels that make up one big story.

I'm surprised at how few of these questions mention your memoir, Last Resort. It made me laugh, and sometimes cry, and I could not put it down. There were so many parallels to my own childhood. We had a trailer on Rice Lake for 10 years. There was a "make-out rock" there too! Must be mandatory;) Do you ever think of writing a sequel to Last Resort to cover the next chapters of your life?

Typing and Latin, after reading, of course, are the skills I learned in school and continued to use constantly throughout my life. So I found "A Noise Downstairs" to be fun, familiar and frustrating. I was suspicious of the perpetrators from early on, but was impressed with how it was all carried off. In short, I liked this book. The use of the typed headers was clever. Did you have input on the design?
