How do you deal with writer’s block?

Emily Thiede I step away from the computer to read a bunch of books, and watch a lot of movies and TV shows. When the creative well runs dry, you have to refill it, and you never know what might kick-start an idea.
I'm still in the very early stages of drafting the sequel to my upcoming debut, but a few nights ago I saw a tweet, of all things, that inspired me to write a very fun scene I think readers will really enjoy.
So that's my advice- allow yourself space to step away from generating ideas for a bit, and feed your brain with other people's creativity!
