Why is this book so expensive as compared to other new authors in similar genres? Is this a publisher’s decision? That wouldn’t be a problem for me if it was a known author... an author that I know well. Octavia Butler - I’m dropping the dough. Octavia... Tanith... Life is too short.

I wish I had a smart answer for you -- but the algorithms that go into setting prices are a mystery to me. (And well outside my paygrade. I have no control or voice over such matters.) I do know that most libraries carry my books or are able to carry my books, including eVersions!

Hello! I just saw that you liked my reviews. That wasn't something I was expecting to happen, but thank you for your attention! To reiterate: I greatly enjoy your writing style, and the glimpses of the bigger story in the first two books definitely have me intrigued. Thank you for answering! Name Rurik is very meaningful in Russian history, he was the founder of the ruling Rurik dynasty in old Russia. Since there is a Russian family involved, I assumed there was some significance to him in that aspect. What a coincidence! :D So glad to hear about Brand! I absolutely adore him; his banter reminds me of Rocket from the Guardians of the Galaxy a bit X) ?
