Nicholas Eames Thanks! There is one GW-inspired thing in the book, which is Gabriel's sword, Vellichor. There's a weapon (I forget it's name) in GW in which you can see a sunset, and similar weapons in games like Rift (which has a horse you can see space through). Vellichor was used by this ancient race to open a door from their collapsing world to ours, and its blade is a sliver of that world. Through it, you can see their homeworld as it was before darkness overtook it.
