Saw you on Daniel Greene! Loved the interview Kings of the Wyld is definitely my next TBR Also, hi! I love GW2 too! "A new place to explore. Can't wait!" Are there any GW2 elements in the book? Except for the cover? Which is incredible, by the way

Thanks! There is one GW-inspired thing in the book, which is Gabriel's sword, Vellichor. There's a weapon (I forget it's name) in GW in which you can see a sunset, and similar weapons in games like Rift (which has a horse you can see space through). Vellichor was used by this ancient race to open a door from their collapsing world to ours, and its blade is a sliver of that world. Through it, you can see their homeworld as it was before darkness overtook it.
I hope you enjoy the book!

Hey Nick - First of all, love your books. Congratulations on much-deserved success! My question actually has to do with ANOTHER author's books, though - one I've read is your absolute favorite: Guy Gavriel Kay. What's your favorite of his work? I've only read Tigana and was thinking out jumping in for more GGK this year. Thanks!

While I was reading KotW, I could imagine the RPG sessions with Clay rolling a 20 on the fortitude test to go on running, the ettin failling miserably the will test and sleeping while Shadow was about to kill everyone and Moog trying hard to recover the information about that smell, but barely passing the knowledge test.
