Hi there, I am currently looking into writing my own story and I have for a while. The main thing that stumps me is trying to find a world and characters and a plot that actually makes sense. I was wondering How did you got inspired to write the Serafina series, and which authors and other people or places have most inspired the books you have written? Hi Jasmin,
Thank you for this great question. I was inspired to write the Serafina Series by my three daughters, especially my middle daughter (Genevieve who plays Serafina in the book trailers) who loved to pretend she was a cat when she was younger. As I develop my stories, I am also inspired by the other people around me and the events that happen in my life on a daily basis. Of course, visiting the Biltmore Estate helps me develop Serafina's adventures and visiting the Great Smoky Mountains National Park helps me develop the magical world of Willa!
