Hi Charlaine....how are your rescue dogs doing? My husband and I found a momma cat who gave birth to four kittens on our lanai...we were going to put them up for adoption, but...well...we added them to our household of two cats and one (long-suffering) Cairn Terrier. I've utterly enjoyed your books from the very first one...and continue to anticipate what you have coming up! Are you planning any new series?

Charlaine Harris Our two dogs are aging, but still enjoying life. Not as good about getting outside to do their duty as they used to be. We love cats too, but have family allergies that prevent us having them. You certainly have a houseful of life. Right now, I'm writing about Lizbeth Rose, and I hope to write several more books about her and her world.

In your Sookie Stackhouse series, there was such a huge emphasis on the romance between Sookie and Eric. The TV series glazes over that really prominent piece. Do you wish they would have allowed for Eric and Sookie to develop more?
