when was your first understanding, awareness of Druids?

Ellen Evert Hopman That's a complicated question - I was born in Austria and my mother always talked about the Celts with great reverence. I first heard about "Druids" when I was in my thirties. You can read the whole story in the book "A Legacy of Druids - Conversations with Druid Leaders from Britain, the USA and Canada" (Moon Books). That book answers the same question from the point of view of many Druid elders and leaders.
