Hi Mrs. Nielsen! I just ended the first book of The Ascendance Trilogy and I absolutely FELL IN LOVE WITH IT! I am now waiting for the second book (since I put a hold on it). I wanted to ask why you what made you want to write the fourth book since the three books seem enough. And I'd also like to ask you, what is your inspiration for writing them? I hope you continue to write more books in the future, thanks so much!

Jennifer A. Nielsen A fan wrote in asking about a missing scene in the third book, and so as I thought about that scene, I realized there was a lot more missing story than I had realized. Once I began to write it, an entire book began to tumble out.
