The biggest inspiration really came from my research for SKY IN THE DEEP. I did a lot of study on the runic alphabet and the relationship between Nordic people and their symbols. It was also heavily inspired by their concept of Wyrd, or fate/destiny. They had a completely different way of looking at time than we did. They understood time to be circular and entertwined instead of linear and I found that fascinating.

Hi Adrienne, I am a book seller in Cincinnati and I just posted a review for Fable on both Edelweiss and goodreads. I really enjoyed Fable and I am excited to read Namesake. Are you partnering with any monthly book boxes or doing a special signed edition of Fable and/ or Namesake? Even though I have read the e-version of the arc, I will definitely be buying a copy! BTW- The cover is absolutely stunning!:)
