What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Milly Johnson I'm always amazed at what my brain can dredge up from nothing - the creative process fascinates me and I love to see what I'm capable of. It's as if my brain is a separate entity to the rest of me. I'm also my own boss, master of my ship, and I'm being paid to do my favourite hobby.

Hi Milly, Most if not all of your books include a character (usually male) that is a narcissistic controller. Is this your way of helping others that may be trapped in a relationship with one? Showing them red flags, their modus operandi, paths to escape, etc?
