How does male conversion work in regards to lifemates? Some of my friends and I are arguing on how this works. I believe that the adoption ceremony had some effect on the converted males to allow them to get the binding words imprinted on their souls, but one of my friends is saying that it is passed on from father to son, that even mother to son doesn't count, nor conversion. Can you please explain?

Gary died, his soul sent/traveled to be judged by the Carpathian ancestors. They found him worthy and they filled him with their spirit, their history, their memories. He became a Daratrazanoff and a full Carpathian. He was no longer the Gary of before. It was as if he'd never been human even though he retained Gary's memories. Between the time he died and the time he was essentially "reborn" a Carpathian his soul split and the ancients of the Daratrazanoff line were his "father" and the ritual binding words were imprinted as his soul was split and his other half, his lifemate, was born. Gary didn't just get to be born anew like a Carpathian child. That Daratrazanoff lineage was poured into him and he lost his emotions and ability to see in color like the ancient he was reborn as.

Hello :) My favorite books are the Dark series which are my birthday celebration books and I look forward to every single release. I love that you have so many stories to tell and I look forward to reading them. I wanted to ask about Dark Tarot. Have you released the synopsis on who it's about? I may have missed it so this is going to probably be the silliest question ever.
