Josh asked Stuart Gibbs:

Hello, Mr. Gibbs, I am trying to write a book, but I can't find a way to lengthen the story. Do you have any tips for writing in general? Hope to hear back from you, -Josh W.

Stuart Gibbs I don't think that lengthening a story just to do it is a good idea. If you write a story and it's only ten pages long, then it was only supposed to be a ten page story. The only time I actively make a book longer is if I realize that I needed another scene for the plot. Most of the time, I'm trying to make my story as short and tight as possible.
