I wish I had some insight to that, but I really don't. I've never sought reviews, though I'm sure my publisher has.
I would think having your friends, family and colleagues put up reviews would be a start. I do see value in being on Goodreads. Being active here allows you to actually get to know your readers and let them know you better.

I know you do not have previous couples in a new book unless they have something pertinent to add. However, I was curious about Dax. Would there ever be the possibility since he is an ancient but was separated from everyone that he could reappear to help any of the new ancients as an old friend?
