I have always adored The Wizard of Oz,and was very excited when I accidently saw your book at a local store in the discounted section,but it was there sitting on top as if it were meant especially for me. I have began reading your book,I am beginning the 2nd chapter ,I had to know if these things i was reading were true facts. Can you tell me which parts im reading are factual?

Elizabeth Letts Hi Cynthia, One of my favorite parts of being a reader is when I'm browsing in a bookstore or library and discover a book that seems as if it was placed there just for me. How lovely and serendipitous that you had such an experience with Finding Dorothy. It is a work of historical fiction, and so facts and fiction are blended-- you may want to wait until you've finished reading the book so as not to have any spoilers, but there is an author's note at the back that explains more about more sources and where I deviated from fact.
