Kate
Kate asked Stuart Gibbs:

Mr. Gibbs, I've been a huge fan of your books and followed several of your series ever since my friend introduced me to Space Case several years ago. As a writer myself, I am curious as to what part of your books you come up with first. Do you usually start with a character, setting, plot idea, or something different for each book? For me, I'll usually start with a vague plot idea and build on it.

A Goodreads user asked Stuart Gibbs:

hi mr gibbs, i want to be an author when i grow up, and i was wondering where you type/draft your stories. Is it just google docs or word docs or some fancy platform? thanks, louisa

Macy
Macy asked Stuart Gibbs:

Where do you get your inspiration from? You create such unique concepts for your books and I was wondering if some characters are based off of real people or if just the general story has anything to do with your life or things that you have experienced?
