I'd been wanting to write something that was intense and create a new world. While I was in Scotland before COVID hit, I went all over looking at fairy hills, researching the ethos, asking the locals if anything still influences them today...to which they laughed, because it was so silly, but then an old man did a custom that was to avoid being tricked by fae. But if you asked, it was more about bad luck. I LOVE TRAVELING to hear those types of things. They inspire me to wonder what the word would look like if...and so THE DARK PRINCE was thought up, and I wrote the story web on my mirror. Then NaNo got here and I thought, why not do it now? So I am!
