Linwood Barclay:
Just wondered if any more Zach Walker books are in the works? I love that series. Zach Walker is such a great character, but it seems to have ended with book 4.

I'm afraid not. I wrote the fourth and final Zack novel in 2006, and it came out the following year in North America. (The four books didn't come out in the UK until about three years ago.) Zack was great fun to write about but the novels were not successful at the time of their release so I switched to darker, standalone novels. The good news is that as the newer books became popular, the Zack books were rediscovered by readers such as yourself. There's been a bit of talk about TV series, but we haven't moved very far in that direction to date. All the best. Linwood

Hi? This is not exactly a question. I've just read your list of 23 mystery books on the "off the shelf" website (see answer below) and I probably know a couple of titles which you would have wanted to include, had you remembered to: The 39 Steps by John Buchan and one of my absolute favorite of all times, The Riddle of the Sands, by Erskine Childers, one of the very first book I read in English - I'm Italian). Thanks

Hello, Linwood! As I’m revisiting one of your books right now - Broken Promise - I realized that more than one of your main characters are sci-fi fans at some point in their lives. Zac Walker even was attempting to write a science fiction book. Is this any reflection with you personally?.. Do you like to read science fiction and if you do - what are you favorite and/or latest sci-fi reads?.. Thank you! Jen.

This isn't another question just an update. Our book club met again last night and your book received rave reviews. Out of a possible 25 ( 5 per person) you received 21. Probably one of the highest we have ever given. And as a bonus for you at least 3 of our members are now ordering more of your books. So can you please keep on writing?
