I really enjoy your Captain Lacey books. After I finished the Custom House Murder, I began rereading Sense and Sensibility and ran into Colonel Brandon again. Was this accidental naming? I must admit, I can imagine Colonel Christopher Brandon in later life becoming similar to Aloysius.

Accidental. I did not remember that the character in S&S was called Brandon. They are nothing alike! LOL The Brandon in S&S I am certain will be a kind, caring husband to the end of his days. Aloysius Brandon ... we shall see!
