Valorie Broadhurst asked Sofía Segovia:

Dear Sofia, I so enjoyed "The Murmur of Bees," which I just finished and have assigned this month to the members of my book club in Dubuque, Iowa, USA. I had been looking forward to reading this book for several months and I found it to be as rich and gorgeous a story as I'd hoped. My question is this: Do you feel there are Simonopios in the world--special individuals whose senses pick up what others do not? Thanks!

Sofía Segovia Dear Valorie,
I'm sorry I just read your message. Thank you for choosing my novel to share with your book club. I hope everyone enjoyed it.
In the novel, Simonopio is a bee in shape of a boy or a boy with the heart of a bee. I do believe that what Simonopio does is possible in real life to some extent. I believe we can all connect with our senses and instincts much more if we remain aware, if we "listen" with purpose.
Did you know Tears of Amber is out? I hope you enjoy that one too!
