Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Jenny Frame I read a news report about a proposed rewriting of the act of succession to the British throne. One of the changes was to end the male supremacy in the order of succession. From then on the first born of the Monarch would become heir regardless of sex. This got me thinking about what kind of woman that would be. Then when I heard some members of parliament asking what would happen if the Queen happened to be gay, the character of Queen Georgina came to me.
