Have you read "Full Body Replacement," by John Blandly? It is a bit macho. Or, "Zombie Man," by Pantson Fire. Both these authors find it hard to admit that they write sweet romance. Or, try "Sea Wolf." That is not sweet, although the film version has a bit of a romance.
