How do you come up with unique ideas for your books? Do you keep paper handy so you can write them down?

Shannon ~ Thanks! I'm glad my ideas strike you as unique. I do keep paper handy--I have a notebook in my purse and a pad on my night stand. I have running documents on my computer for random notes, and I write them on my phone, too. That said, most of my ideas come to me when I'm already writing. It seems, often, that by the time I get to the bottom of a page, I have a new idea I hadn't yet realized when I was at the top of the same page. I think the words bring more ideas. If you're a writer, too, I wish you luck with your work.

Wait--Vault 2? Does that mean Vault of Dreamers wasn't a stand-alone?! O_o I was just about to ask about how you were inspired for the ending! Ah, well. I guess I can still ask in a new context. How did you determine that would be a good transition scene for the second one?
