Tracie
Tracie asked C.J. Booth:

I live in the Sacramento area. Is Olive Park based on a real place?

C.J. Booth Tracie - thank you for asking. Yes and No to your question. The glass office of OID and the abandoned theater are only roughly based on the buildings in a certain area of town. I don't live in Sac and never have but I've cruised the whole town and visited relatives there, as well as interviewing the head of SacPD's cold case division and I love CA. The name Olive Park was chosen because there isn't a specific place named that (I didn't want people to be upset who might live there) and there are olive trees in CA including Sacramento. Hope you enjoyed the series and look forward to your questions from the new series. CJ
