Sherry asked Charlaine Harris:

I know you have to remain diplomatic regarding the Teagarden Mysteries but I wish they had chosen another actress for this role. I enjoyed the written series, but the acting is utterly awful in the film versions, I just cannot tolerate it. :( Do you ever feel like film producers miss the boat when making their vision of the characters you have created?

Charlaine Harris Yes, sometimes. But they have their own vision and their own knowledge of what looks good on the screen, which is not in my area of expertise. The Aurora movies are very popular, so a lot of people don't see it the same way as you do. That's fine. It's easy not to watch if you don't like them.
