I can't even begin to express how much I loved this book! I just want to thank you for writing this story and taking me to a place I never knew existed. I was kind of hoping we would learn about Simonopio's beginning and why the bees chose to protect him. Did I miss something?

Hola Sofía, estoy leyendo El murmullo de las abejas, y me peleo a diario conmigo misma porque no quiero terminarlo, pero no puedo parar. Me resulta aun mas maravilloso porque me sabe a hogar (soy de por allá). Para cuando la traducción? Vivo en Australia y quiero compartirlo con mucha gente que desgraciadamente no sabe español!

Hola Sofía! Espero que estés muy bien! Hace algunos años leí junto con mi abuelita (ávida lectora) El murmullo de las abejas. Leerlo hacía que escapáramos del hospital en donde estaba internada, gracias por crear un mundo tan mágico, con personajes tan maravillosos. Muero por leer tu nuevo libro "Tears of amber" estará disponible en español? Saludos desde Guadalajara!

Hi Sofía, there was a lot I liked about El Murmullo de las Abejas, but I had a lot of trouble with the racist and classist portrayals of some of the characters. Can you explain why you made the choice to have the "good guys" be fair-skinned wealthy landowners, where as the "bad guys" are Indigenous landless peasants? (Was this a critique that I missed? Or was it unintentional? Do you regret the choice?) Thanks!
