How do you get inspired to write?

Jane C.R. Reid I am very fortunate to be living in sunny climes, in Turkey. For me, nature gives me my inspiration. Sometimes I will just stand in the ocean and the ideas will come flooding in. Other times, day-dreaming in the sun seems to do it. For me, it is not something that can be forced, so if I am not in the mood for writing, I refrain from doing it, though I realise we are all different in our approaches and styles.
